Welcome to Big Hat Ranch

Big Hat Ranch is located on Highway 131 midway between Vail and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Our beautiful spot in the mountains allows us to have the best of all worlds for raising alpacas.

Our breeding philosophy is simple: diverse genetics, blue ribbons and color champions in our foundation herd, as well as females that have produced color champions.
